TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions demonstrate the transparency of SPANISH NONSTOP in its agreements and procedures. The document includes all the terms and conditions for taking Spanish classes and training at SPANISH NONSTOP, so we recommend reading it in its entirety.
This is a service agreement between SPANISH NONSTOP and the student. This agreement is subject to the laws in force in Spain.
The TERMS AND CONDITIONS become legally binding once SPANISH NONSTOP has received the complete student registration.
The student must provide truthful and accurate personal information during registration. Otherwise, SPANISH NONSTOP reserves the right to reject the registration or proceed with the cancellation of the contracted services in the course without any refund.
The minimum age to participate in our group adult programs is 16 years. Customized programs and private lessons can be adapted for all ages.
To proceed with the registration, the student must fill out the online registration form.
2. PAYMENT METHODS:
Payments will be made through the payment gateway on the SPANISH NONSTOP website. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and PayPal.
3. CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS:
SPANISH NONSTOP will only refund the amount corresponding to the reservation cost, which covers administrative expenses, when the cancellation is solely attributable to the center. The remaining portion will be refunded, provided that the student notifies the cancellation with a minimum of:
- 7 days before the start of any group course.
- 24 hours before each private class for 1 or 2 people.
- 48 hours before the first class of the pack of 4 conversation classes.
- The amount of the vouchers will not be refunded once the first class booked with them has been reserved.
If the cancellation is not made within the specified deadlines, the student will forfeit the right to a refund, if applicable. To request cancellation, it is necessary to send an email to info@spanisnonstop.com, providing the student’s enrollment details and specifying the service to be canceled or modified.
The price of the courses will be reduced when starting in a group where a specific number of hours has already been taught, by the amount corresponding to those hours.
National holidays in Spain will be considered non-working days.
Cancellations/Modifications During the Program
No refunds will be issued once the course has started.
In general, it is not possible to suspend classes during the program without the acceptance of SPANISH NONSTOP. The request must be made through info@spanishnonstop.com.
The purchase of a course in installments implies the commitment of the student to fulfill all payments. Failure to do so gives SPANISH NONSTOP the right to take legal action.
4. SPANISH COURSES/PRIVATE LESSONS:
Classes will be held from 8:00 to 23:00 CEST, Monday through Friday.
Placement Test: All students who wish to take regular courses or immersion courses and have some knowledge of the language must take a placement test of approximately half an hour via Zoom, with the use of a camera and microphone required in all cases.
General Group Spanish Courses: The registration fee will only be paid once per student. General group Spanish courses will consist of a maximum of 6 students per class. Classes will have a duration of 2 hours each, with a 5-minute break. The schedule for these courses will be established by the center considering student preferences whenever possible. The schedule for these courses will always be in the morning or afternoon at similar times to facilitate the inclusion of students in a group. The use of a camera and microphone is necessary in all cases.
Private Classes for 1 or 2 People: Classes are 1 hour long. Reservations for classes must be made with a minimum of 72 hours and always subject to the availability of the center. Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 24 hours in advance. If the student does not notify SPANISH NONSTOP of the class cancellation by email at info@spanishnontop.com, does not attend, or fails to inform about the class cancellation, the class cannot be recovered, and no refund will be issued. They are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person. The use of a camera and microphone is necessary in all cases.
Specialized Courses: Specialized courses will have a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 6 students per class. Each specialized course will be governed by its respective rules. The schedule and duration of these courses will be established by the center. The use of a camera and microphone is necessary in all cases.
Upon completion of each specialized course, SPANISH NONSTOP will provide the student with a private certificate accrediting successful completion.
Group Conversation Classes: Group conversation classes will have a maximum of 6 students per class. Classes will last 1 hour each. The schedule for these courses will be established by the center. The use of a camera and microphone is necessary in all cases. The purchase of the pack of 4 group conversation classes entitles the student to attend the next 4 consecutive classes following the purchase of the package at the chosen time. If the pack is purchased less than 24 hours before the scheduled class in the current week, the student will start attending classes from the following week. Classes not attended due to reasons attributable to the student are neither refundable nor recoverable under any circumstances.
Immersion Courses: It will be governed by what is established at spanishnonstop.com/inmersion/ and, failing that, by what is established for General Group Spanish Courses.
DELE Exam Preparation Course: It will be governed by what is established at spanishnonstop.com/preparación-prueba-DELE and, failing that, by what is established for General Group Spanish Courses.
Master’s in Legal Spanish: Registration will have a value of 10% of the course and will be paid as a reservation fee. Under no circumstances will the amount be refunded, except for the non-realization of the course due to causes attributable to the center. Its value will be deducted from the total course fee.
It consists of 80 hours of group classes and 10 hours of individual classes.
Groups will have a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 6. Classes will last 2 hours each, with two weekly sessions. The schedule for these courses will be established by the center considering student preferences whenever possible. Group classes are not recoverable.
Individual classes will be governed by what is established for individual class vouchers for one person. In any case, they must be received between the payment of the course, or the first installment if applicable, and the completion of the master’s program.
The use of a camera and microphone is necessary in all cases.
Upon completion of the master’s program, a certificate will be awarded. To obtain it, the individual and group work carried out by the student will be taken into account. It is a proprietary title not officially recognized.
5. CERTIFICATE, ATTENDANCE, AND POSSIBLE EXPULSION:
Missed classes will not be recoverable or refundable.
To receive the accreditation certificate, the student must achieve a grade equal to or higher than 50 out of 100.
To obtain this grade, continuous assessment (30 out of 100) and the passing of one or two exams, depending on the course (70 out of 100), will be taken into account.
For general Spanish courses, two exams will be conducted. The final grade will be the result of the weighting of both exams (70%, with the first having a value of 40% and the second of 60%) and continuous assessment (30%).
For immersion courses, only one exam will be conducted. The final grade will be the result of the weighting of this exam (70%) and continuous assessment (30%).
SPANISH NONSTOP has the right to expel students who exhibit inappropriate behavior or do not have the necessary means for the proper development of the class. A student who is expelled will lose any right to a refund of the amounts paid.
Expulsion may also result from any serious lack of respect by one student toward another or a teacher, as well as any behavior that may be considered contrary to the principle of equality in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states, “All persons are entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth, or other status.”
Similarly, non-payment in full or in part for any course, whether with a single or installment payment, may be grounds for expulsion.
The center reserves the right to admit any student.
